ADCP Met-Ocean Buoy Mooring Design and Analysis

Client: Paaras Marine Solutions Pte. Ltd. (Singapore)

Description:
– Mooring design and dynamic analysis in Bentley MOSES for met-ocean ADCP buoys in Singapore waters.
– Development of buoy hydrodynamic models and two-line chain mooring arrangements with seabed anchors.
– Assessment of the original 6 m and 12 m water-depth cases and subsequent revised locations at 6.5 m and 14 m.
– Time-domain analysis across eight environmental headings, considering wind, wave and current loads and high and low astronomical tides.
– Evaluation of mooring-chain tensions, buoy excursions, horizontal anchor loads and vertical uplift at the anchors.
– Selection and refinement of mooring component sizes, chain lengths and anchor positions to suit the site conditions and excursion criteria.
