Description:
– Dynamic mooring analysis in Bentley MOSES for three floating desalination barges berthed side by side at Yanbu.
– Modelling of the barges, mooring buoys, shore connections and seabed anchoring system under 100-year return-period environmental conditions.
– Three-hour time-domain simulations and random-seed sensitivity studies to evaluate mooring response.
– Assessment of intact, single-line failure and one-buoy-flooded conditions.
– Evaluation of mooring line pretensions and dynamic tensions, anchor holding requirements and bow pile bollard loads against API RP 2SK criteria.
– Assessment of barge excursions, relative movements and minimum separation between the barges.
